RF PMX1 Sync Issue

Just purchased 2021 380 FL, having issues syncing via Bluetooth to the Rockford Fosgate PMX1. Prev owner talked about how easy it was, but my iPhone recognizes the PMX, but PMX does not give the option to pair devices. Will not even let me select Bluetooth. Only clickable options are AM, FM and WB. QR code is disabled. Anybody have this issue? looked through threads and other than theft replacement, haven’t seen any recommendations for similar issue.

I have app loaded to iPhone, paired and connected according to my phone, but unable to play any content from my phone. Once RF app shows BT connection, it drops back to FM…

Sorry SoundSailor. I am in the middle of a time suck trying to sell Cedar Creek! May think I need to play with it this weekend, I am learning bits and pieces about the unit, but main button in manual does not like me! Hopefully once I get camping, I can play with it a bit. I will update after the weekend. It is under warranty and going to dealer I like for inspection (they are giving me a deal due to prev owners buying new and doing forever warranty inspections annually) if I run into an issue. THANK YOU FOR INPUT!
