We've been seeing a lot of ads for the Rhino Blaster lately and are wondering if it's a needed item since we have the black tank flush. Anybody?
Thanks,
Kathy

It was a life saver when we had a blockage. My fault as I got distracted and forgot to close the black tank valve for a few days.

Get the PRO model, not the regular one, if you decide to purchase.

Generally though I'd say your right, Black Tank Flush should be good enough.

The built-in black tank flush on my Imagine works great! I don't have a need for the Rhino Blaster. I do know someone whose black flush doesn't work well at ll. Others on this forum have stated their black flush is less than ideal. It depends on if your blank tank flush works well or not.

Two fifth wheels and 5-1/2 years fulltime... have never needed anything but the black tank flush system. Google "black tank geo method" and learn about good cleaning procedures - you should be OK.

The Rhino blaster might come in handy if ever you get a blockage. It didn't help us when we did last summer but it has helped others. The tank flush works great and with proper care and attention to the amount of water you use you shouldn't havevany problems. The gea method is works great and there's no chemicals. Lookup klean tanks geo method. Our blockage was our own fault, we didn't use enough water.
