Road trip

again thanks to all the replies on tow/haul yesterday - BIG HELP!!!
Now this is our first long distance road trip from Manteca Ca (NorCal) to Fort Collins Co (sisters house) late July, early August
will be going hwy 80 - planning out fuel stops (loves) , overnight stays, but also looking at some place to go along the
way, saw Moab is only 3 hours south off of 80,
So the question is when you go on a longer road trips what do you use to find places of interests?
I have some ideas and checking on some various publications but just curious what the rest of you do?

I (and many on the forum) use RV Trip Wizard to plan the actual trip. My wife and I use TripAdvisor to look for interesting things in the places we're going to stay or pass through.
