Has anyone here used the Roadmaster 195125 ( https://www.etrailer.com/Spare-Tire-Mount/Roadmaster/RM-195125.html ) with a Swagman E-Spec ( E-SPEC ) attached to it?

The reason I am asking is I got an Lectric XP 3.0 step through for Christmas and have gone through the ways to carry it, like folding and using a tote to store inside. Unfortunately I struggled getting it up the steps and finding room inside with the slide in. Also concerned it could slide on the floor and damage something if the tie downs come undone.

I also looked at adding a second 2" receiver below the OEM one, but found my current Curt spare tire carrier is incomparable with the Swagman as the spare will not allow for the rack to fit due to the offset tire position. An adapter for the receiver wont fit ether as it put things too far back of the trailer.

So using the Roadmaster with the Swagman appear to be my only option unless someone has a better idea.

Comments on the Roadmaster 195125 and the Swagman E-spec are also welcome.

Thanks in advance

I wish you luck finding a solution. Any chance of fitting it behind the hitch on it's side ,maybe laying on a foam pad ? Last thing in and first thing out of the bed that way.

I installed a 2inch hitch receiver on the front of my Chevy 2500, which works great except if it rains. Failed to realize that if I cover them while driving, air flow to engine is blocked. Still trying to figure out a way to transport.

I thought I should update this. I went with the heavier RM-195225 and got the adapter plate to fit my spare zero offset 16" rims. I drilled a new mounting hole (oversized 5/8 hole with a portion having tapped threading like the OEM holes) on the Roadmaster receiver shank so it slides fully in. I then fit my Swagman e-spec into the second mount. It will work. I am having the adapter shortened so the spare fits closer to the trailer. I have pictures if folks are interested.
