It’s in the title. Do you keep the shades up or down for travel? On past trailers I’ve always kept them down but those were the accordion style blinds. I kept them down to cut a little heat inside and minimize UV exposure on the furniture where I can. These, if I leave them down, they’re flapping about and also some roll up on the big bumps. I’ve not come up with a good mod to keep them down and secure anyway.

We always leave ours up so the bars don't beat against the walls and window frames going down the road.

Down except for the inner slide shades if it is hot. Otherwise leave them up so I can see what fell out of the cabinets (See Marcy's walking stick post) before I put the slides out.

Seems we’re split down the middle. Heat and UV exposure has always been my reasoning. Maybe I need to mess with the tension adjustments on my shades. Set them to less tension and then additionally wrap the chord around the window knobs. That may keep them down but not put a lot of stress on the chord or window knobs if they try to retract.

This and the proper way to strap down the dinette chairs has been a puzzler with this trailer as far as securing things when underway.
