Do they allow it? As far as warranty?

Roof seals are only warranted for 90 days from date of purchase, after that it is maintenance.....you can pretty do whatever you want after that.

They do use the tape on the slide out seams.

2K.. Thats a chunk of change, for that I'd hope it includes removal and not just a top layer ..
You can buy lots of Eternabond and still be well ahead of the game. We put Eternabond on the roof / cap transition and also around the skylight.
Clean well, we used alchohol, let it dry and follow the eternabond directions. We used a roller on it after application to gain a good seal

I'm sure most of that charge is labor to remove the old sealant....most dealers are at close to $200/hour now.

I've used Eternabond for corner sealing and patched a spot on the side of my roof with it too. It works great. On my last RV I used it to tape over the front and rear caps sticking it right over the self leveling sealant (after I cleared up the sealant). I would do it again but so far my roof is ok.

I just used Alpha's Roof Cleaner on part of my roof as I sent along the side edges checking to be sure I a good caulk seal. It does a fantastic job cleaning the roof and see leveling sealant (and Eternabod); so much so that I've started scrubbing the whole roof with it.

We're hanging in at $179 for outside work, but discount 10% for people who bought from us.

Do you happen to know what type roof material is on a 2019 337RLS.... and what solvent to use to clean areas needing some lap sealant that is within GD warranty?

A 2019 should have TPO.

We use Heptane (a white gas) to clean up where we are resealing. You can also use denatured alcohol, pretty much achieves the same results.

Hey guys, on my Santa Fee, it was a 76,73 wow I forget now but a beauty just for the fun I cleaned her with a solution of Dawn and Bleach came up awsome then always checked peeled if I had to and just recalled it all every year, it was my thing to keep her nice. But you would check first in a spot but anything I had to degrease on anything , my boat, cars ,trucks , camper I'd use kerosene for bad let's say stickers wich I never had but other RVers did I'd always tell them to use Goof Off, a painters best freind but melts plastic but with all of this always wash it up with Dawn when your done. I learned that one thing from my miserable ex wife about how great that works oneven stains in your clothes , well she was good for one thing.

How about a ‘21 Imagine 2600RB. We bought it used and the roof needs some maintenance/sealing.
Thanks.

Thank you. So I can use regular lap sealant and eternabond on it?
Rich

Lap sealant that is recommended for TPO....

There are some out there that are recommended for EDPM rubber only.

I did some Roof maintenance on my 2017 395M Momentum Toy Hauler. Finished the roof with siliconized paint from Home Depot and painted the Air Conditioning covers. I cleaned the roof before painting and used the sticky white tape (eternabond tape) to cover all the lap sealant areas prior to painting with a roller. I was very happy with the look and I feel the durability will be much better. I really think to maintain the trailer you have to start at the top... taking care of the roof before it causes damage below.

So, did you put it directly on the existing roof membrane?
Absolutely agree with starting at the top. Do you happen to have the exact name of the paint?

Ultra Siliconizer 5 Gal. 100% Acrylic Elastomeric White Reflective Roof Sealer. The cost was reasonable about $120 for 5 gals. And, yes it covers really nice. I cleaned the surface with simple green first using towels to wipe up the dirt scrubing the bad areas first with a brush. I used a roller on the roof (large flat areas) and used a small brush to touch up all the sides of the trailer once the roof was completed.
