Grand design redid our kitchen slide and roof after a fire in May 2022 caused by a refrigerator coil not being restrained and banging aganist the electrical cable above the refrigerator.
It is now Sep 2024 and I was winterizing the trailer and noticed some cracks in the roof seal at the end of the trailer, kitchen side. I used silicone to seal this up but was told this was the wrong material - what should I use.

Thanks.

Use either Dicor or Alpha sealant. I believe Grand Design recommends the Alpha product but I have always used Dicor on my 2018. It is available in self leveling for flat surfaces or non-self leveling for vertical surfaces

If you have gone 2 years and haven't checked ALL your sealant, you better start looking.

Should be up there checking several times a year.

And yes, Dicor or Alpha self leveling for the vertical seams and non sag for the vertical.
