Has anyone experienced and increased amount of up and down movement while traveling with the Roto-flex pin box?
During a recent trip I had an issue that the trailer bounced an excessive amount to the point of the sliding door to the den came off the rail.
I noticed that during the trip the plate and head unit of my hitch was at a 15 degree angle. there is over 3/16 inch of clearance between the bumper and the plate on the backside of the kingpin plate with all of the weight on the front of the hitch. The angle of the head unit and the kingpin plate cause increase pressure and stress on the latch mechanism at the rear of the head unit. When we hit the dip in the road this allowed our unit additional slack and consequently more freedom of vertical movement. My previous trailer was 3110 Cyclone with a stock kingpin box and did not have any issues like this during our 4000 mile trip last summer.
I have a bagged 2005 GMC 2500 with 47 pounds of pressure in the bags using a Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch with the under bed mounting.

I have contacted Lippert and their response was, "Our product looks to be performing as designed. I cannot comment or advise on other products. I would advise checking with a receiver outfitter."
There was not an issue with the receiver hitch in any way after putting over 4000 miles with the Cyclone using the stock 1621 kingpin box.

I love the Demco hijacker hitch and I see no reason that its design would cause the issue I experienced.
I need some advice of what I should do to prevent additional damage to my unit.

I've heard of the rubber pad coming out when using the Andersen, otherwise I haven't heard of any issues.

I will say that I'm not that impressed by it. I plan to replace mine with a MorRyde some day..

I like that the MorRyde will stay flat with the trailer and not pivot like the Roto-flex.
The single pivot is what is allowing the lateral movement and facilitated the bounce effect I experienced.

I don't have that at all. I need to hook up and dump my gray tank tonight, I'll take a real hard look to see. I'm using the B&W Companion for the Ram OEM pucks. You have more or less the same RV as me too, so it's not a weight difference. I'm wondering if the rubber has slipped, or is breaking down?

I think that is possible. i did not have the bouncing effect with the solid stock pin box with the Cyclone. Lippert also made that frame.
My recent calls and emails have not been responded to by Lippert or GDRV concerning the issue.
I'll continue to wait and see what will happen. Its currently at the dealer repairing minor warranty covered issues.

Also, something to keep in mind, there is some slop in the bolt holes mounting the pin box to the trailer ( I found out when moving mine down a hole) that allow the pin box to pivot up and down more than you would think. It may be that yours is pivoted up in the hole slop. I actually had to pivot my down to make the plate as flat as possible.
