Hi all. I have a 2021 GD reflection 337. Approximate 36 ft long. I wanna buy a cover for it during the winter. I looked on Amazon but don’t know what to get. I certainly don’t want to buy junk quality. Are there different fabrics out there? What to stay away from. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I live in Pa and we are done camping for the season. Thanks Bruce.

We used an ADCO cover and had good luck. You are going to get varying opinions on whether or not to use a cover. Some swear by them, and some won't ever use them. In my case, we had good luck with a cover but have since had a metal carport added to park under. In my experience the covers only last a couple of seasons before they need to be replaced. Good luck

or repaired.

We got rid of our (expensive) Adco 5er cover and ended up parking our 295RL in 4 sided storage, and, never looked back.

In our opinion.... easier, less time consuming, and safer - dont have to get on the roof to place/remove the cover.

As noted---some will be for or against. I'm in the against camp after I bought a nice one for a new camper of mine years ago and it ruined the rubber roof membrane from rubbing over the winter. Since then...no covers! Two years ago we invested in an RV carport. It's the best way to go if you can. It shelters the entire camper from all the elements without the concerns of the cover.

Hey Bruce I have covered my 337 with a king Bird for 6 years mostly during winter. I have to store my unit in storage lot since neighborhood regs. I have access to covered storage but choose to save money and cover since double the rental costs. After the third season the cover failed and split. King bird replaced at no cost . I think they are about 350 so no complaints since way cheaper than covered rental spots. Never had any rubbing issues so maybe I’m lucky. They are a bit heavy but I just loop a rope around it and climb up and pull it up. Bout 30 or 45 minutes and in spring it opens up just as clean as I left it. It’s a bit of work but peace of mind , mice, bugs,ETC for me is well worth the effort. But then I’m a tinkerer and a bit of a clean freak. 😁

Great info. Food for thought. I’ll have to way the pros and cons of both. I have the room for rv structure but won’t be able to put slides out. Of course can’t do that with a soft cover either.hmmmmm……..

Well the ability to extend the slides inside the carport depends on the size of the carport. Mine is 14' wide by 45' long. I can extend the slides nearly all the way out on both sides. It works for me to do maintenance and etc. inside the carport or to access stuff while in storage. The cover was just too much work to put on, often times required climbing on the roof which got old, and then as I noted ruined the rubber membrane. I added lights in my carport and use it to store and service the camper whenever needed. I couldn't be happier with the decision. Good luck with yours.

I had a cover on a previous rv & wind ripped it to shreds the second winter I had it.
With a new roof on my current one I wouldn't chance putting one on. A thorough cleaning & a good coat of wax has worked for me for the past six years.

we did the cover thing and with the wind it kept coming loose and rubbing on the bottom skirt. We just sold the cover and put up an RV port. Best thing ever. We have one side wall on it so it is pretty much open. we get a ton of snow up to 300 inches in one winter so this will help with snow and sun beating on it and a bonus as I can feel comfortable on the roof now.
