Do any of you cover your fiver with an RV cover when storing it? Any recommendations for good or bad brands, materials etc.

I've had trailers since 1995, and had a cover on the first travel trailer. I never used it but 1 year, and it was such a hassle to get on and off.

Thought about getting a cover . . . until I watched a couple trying to put their's on. Decided that was why the roof has a long warranty and why I got a paint protection package for the side walls.

I do have a cover for our new Reflection and it is an Elements Brand from Camping World. My wife and I took it out of the box and put it on a week ago. It came REALLY pressed together in the box and was a little difficult to separate but once it was laid out it went up on the roof with no problem. It will not be as hard to unfold next time as we are storing in a large garbage can. This is the second cover we have owned as the first one was for our travel trailer. We don't know how long it will last of course, but as of now I feel confident on it being able to keep the leaves, rain, and sun off of it and hopefully have it keep looking like new as long as possible.

The best kind of cover. Buy once, and no hassle to remove/install. Wanted one for over eight years, finally got it three or four months ago.

And it's 18' wide, so all slides can stay open, as we use ours for an extra house for us when company comes. Give them the S&B and go camping in back yard.

I have a 20 x 45 carport over mine, love it, keeps the roof all good, less cleaning since it's out of the elements, keeps most of the sun off the paint and decals, all helps to make the RV last longer and hold better value.

That sounds nice. I'd like to do that some day

Hello,
If you live in snow country be sure to find out the snow load requirement for your area before purchase. To find out later that the snow was too heavy won't be pretty :(

Kevin

Unfortunately it's not the cost of a shed, but the location....don't think my home owners association would go for that. However, the consensus seems to be wash, wax, and covered parking. Guess when the time comes I'll just have to suck it up, find covered parking, buy a some wax, a six pack and make the best of it. C'est la vie...
