Safest WDH?

Hey all, we are trading our Class B in for a 22BHE to have some more room for the kids, and I am now at the point of deciding on a WDH. I have towed before and used an Equalizer E2 which I liked fine, but now with kids in the rig, I want the safest option possible regardless of the price... Ok, maybe not Pro Pride price, but like W&D Continuum, Weigh Safe, etc. Let's call it $1500 and below.

The tow vehicle for the 22BHE will be a 2022 F150 Powerboost with Max Tow. I will be using the yaw sensor with the max tow package, although I am not sure if that does any correction while towing.

Ease of hook-up and disconnect are also important as we will want to get camp setup quickly to get the kids to bed if we are rolling in late.

But of course, safety is the most important. As I said, I have towed several TTs in the past, but with the safety of little ones in consideration now, I want the the trailer to be as planted as possible.

Also, anything else I can do to make the tow safer and more comfortable? I have been looking at the Dexter Equalizers as well.

Thank you.

I really like my B&W Continuum hitch. For me, the deciding factor was the ease of just turning the release valve to lower the pressure when backing up into my driveway. The angle going up my driveway increases the pressure by about 1,000 psi. It performs great and is very easy to connect and disconnect. No fighting with any bars and you just pump it up or turn the release valve. The ONLY complaint would be you should remove the jack foot while towing to prevent it from hitting the bars. Small inconvenience but worth noting.

Thanks @Chipworkz. That was the forerunner. What trailer do you have and was any trimming necessary on the propane shelf or cover?

I towed many TT thousands of miles with the Equalizer 4 point system. My last TT was a 34'. I would buy one again. Not sure how it would "not" be safe but I have not been in the market and perhaps there are new systems.

I just ordered the Weigh Safe. The B&W was the leader until I found out about them not wanting the composite shafts in the sun. I live in AZ and I don't always get to do a full tear down after a trip and didn't want to risk the shafts getting splintered in the sun.

Weigh Safe was my original first choice and is a very good option from what I saw. My use case was about the driveway and the high forces the WS and other WD hitches would cause over the B&W. I believe you made a very good choice. :)
