I am having trouble hooking up my Direct TV satellite receiver box. My receiver is not an HD receiver and does not have HDMI hook up, only RCA jacks. There is only one set of RCA jacks on the TV and the stereo system is hooked up to those. This is only being hooked up in the living room, anyone else having this problem.

Red and white RCA jacks carry audio signals. Yellow carries video. Do you have 3 jacks on the back of your receiver? You don't have a coaxial cable output?

I don't think anyone puts an RCA video input on the back of a TV now. It may be time to upgrade to a new receiver.

Glazier. If you have a couple of inputs then you can still hook up your Directv. I have 4 directv standard (not high Def) boxes in my Momentum. If you still have another red and white (sound) available in the back of the TV plug the RCA wire from the Directv box into the red and white on the TV. Then plug the YELLOW (video) from the Directv box into the GREEN on the TV. Make sure you switch the TV to the correct input and now you should be good to go. If not you can go to your local Radio Shack or order online a RCA A/B switch and use that to toggle between stereo and the Directv box. Hope this helps you and is not to confusing.
