Schwintek error code 8

My bedroom slide on my reflection only goes a few inches before the left side stops. It's giving an error code 8 which is a wire short on motor 2. I can electronically override it. If it really is a short, would I be able to override it?

Where do you find the error codes? In other words where did you find the module? Don

Should be mounted on the bulkhead wall in the front compartment above the battery. The digital display shows error codes.

In my 303, the controller is above the battery, but on the other side of the wall, in the pass through storage area.

What did you ever find out about this? Ours does the same thing and even went back to the factory and Grand Design could not find the "short" or why it is stopping.
