Just a heads up again on something else I ran into with my Grand Design 2016 303 rls. I noticed that the floor mounted passenger side rear storage cabinet next to the couch had dropped down the inside shelf. While attempting to fix the floor storage cabinet I had to remove the couch but to my surprise when I pulled the couch out I seen almost every screw had fell out of the angle iron that attached the back wall to the floor angel. "little scary to say the least" I replaced all the screws somewhere around 10 or 12 with a screw of the same length but with a slightly larger diameter. Also repaired and /or replaced all the supports in the floor storage cabinet half of the supports were cracked due to the wood screws tightened to deep into the wooden supports. (Check those rear wall supports) hopefully yours are ok!!

We had the same problem on the back wall- under the desk of our 307. I called the dealer about it and he said they vibrate out due to the bouncing the back end gets while traveling. He suggested putting a dab of silicone caulk on the threads and reinstalling the screws. Did that and after 7K miles of travel all screws are still in place.

Thanks for the feed back I will keep an eye on them and add silicone if they move again. I was although a little surprised at the screws that were used the threads are very shallow for the overall diameter.

Thanks Dan for the info I wish I would have seen your post earlier, I always try to keep up on post like yours to keep myself out of trouble but obviously miss a few. I have already replaced all the factory screws on the exterior sides of all three slides, somewhere over a hundred screws. At least 15% of the screws were either broken off at the head of the screw or stripped out. I had a couple places where the bottom trim had only one screw holding it on (scary).

I had half of the screws that hold the vented cover for the furnace come out , when I went to put them back in the were stripped so I replaced them all with bigger screws. Seems they got over aggressive with the screw gun.

I have had the same issue. I put some Elmer's glue in the holes along with a piece of a toothpick. Then replaced the screws. They've be holding for the last 6000 miles.

Wish I had checked here when I first discovered the problem. I put the screws back in with some lok tight. After this last weekend camping I found f4 screws out on the floor in front of the couch. Unfortunately, one of them had rolled under the theater seat slide (2023 367BHS) and ended up putting a hole in the vinyl flooring. We put an area run down when camping so it will hide the hole but still depressing!
