Scuba diving

Leaving for the Red Sea in two weeks. Going to Dubai then Port Sudan then a livaboard dive boat named Blueforce 3 for seven days of diving coral reefs and ship wrecks.

Sounds like a good trip. Haven't gone scuba diving in years. I'm a certified cave diver so was into cave diving for a while.

When I was getting certified my dive instructor had just made a trip to Australia - dove with the Great Whites. I'd love to make that trip - but not the sharks. Now the Great Barrier Reef

We were lucky enough to do the GB Reef twice. The second time was on a 10 day live-aboard. It was fantastic! As for sharks, even in shark alley they were mostly timid and uninterested in us.

The first dive instructor we had told us that if we see a great white, we were to form a circle around the instructor. I always figured I would just chum my buddy.
