Shocks on Garage Door

Has anyone attempted to install gas shocks on he door of the garage in the front of a fifth wheel? I’m referring to the small gas shocks on car trunk lids, boat opening hatches, etc...

I haven't but I've installed them before on other doors. Not too hard to do. Probably some YouTube videos that show how to install them.

Let us know the exact door and which model of RV you have an others may have more advice.
