We weren't really looking for another animal but went to a local shelter to see the animals they had. Fell in love with this gentle giant. We named him Koda. He's part Alaskan malamute and part Husky. He's been great with our Golden Retriever but not so much with our cats. Hopefully we can get him to come around.

Look what DW found while we were in Chattanooga for a couple of days. And, we had just come in from Kentucky Lake where the breeder was - busy weekend and 500 miles to go back to get him.

Baxter, our 14 year old Lab, has been on many camping trips. We lost his sister a year ago and Baxter is nearing the end stages of lung cancer. After he's gone we will have no more. It's just too hard to say goodbye. He is a trooper.

He's got a great smile! Huskys are runners so keep an eye on that furball!

We lost both of our camping companions this year. They loved to camp. Miss traveling with them.

Sorry for your loss. Losing both must of been so heartbreaking. When we lost Koda it was hard, then a couple yrs late the little man. I had quite the pity party and ended up with 2 more in between the 2 losses.

West Highland Terriers (Westies).

And they are ALL terrier, stubborn as hell and too smart for their own good.

Brian

LOL.....we have a Toy Manchester Terrier and I can totally related to the "too smart for their own good and STUBBORN". The stubbornness is kind of a hit and miss thing though. He's not always that way, but when he is.....Whew

Here he is trying out the new cover on "HIS" sofa.

Our dogs have their own set of furniture in the front living room of the house!

I like the cover on his sofa, where did you get it? And I whole heartedly agree about excessive payload!
