During the strange times we live in, I know that a lot of us are shining up our trucks, campers, motorcycles and other weekend toys. Like most guys (and some gals) I like shiny stuff so please feel free to post a picture of your newly washed vehicle. If you feel so inclined you can add your preferred method of cleaning (wash mitts, soaps, clay bars etc.) and preferred method of detailing (type of polish, wax, polisher etc.)

Here goes. I used Meguiars soap, Meguiars M101 Compound on deeper scratches, Meguiars M82 Polish followed by Meguiars Tec Wax. For tire shine, I use Lucas Oil 10513 Slick Mist although I'm not really impressed by it. All black surfaces also get a rubbing with 303 Aerospace Protectant. My machine is a Porter Cable 7424.

This is before I brought the RV inside and still had that Thunderbird....

Here is one of the shiny-ness along with a cool rocket launch thrown in for kicks....

And here are both the shining beauties....

Wow,

Sharp truck, however I am biased to Gold F350s. Have one myself!

Soon as the snow stops falling here I'll think about hand washing again...

I'll play along!

Truck detailed by me using Adam's Polishes car shampoo and foam cannon, dried with Griot's PFM edgeless towel (the best drying towel I've ever owned), Adam's clay bar and detail spray, Adam's hand polish, 2 coats of Meguiars ceramic wax. I haven't washed the Imagine yet but I'm dying to give it the full treatment. Just need to wait for the rainy weather to pass.

Nice! I love that color on the Tundra!
