Shower Door Shattered During Winter Storage

any one want shower doors cheap $75..pm me

located summerville , south carolina (near charleston)

I just picked my 303RLS trailer from storage and upon enterering it prior to hook up I notice the left side glass panel stattered (corner shower) sometime over the winter. Has anyone had a shower door shatter while the trailer is stationary for 5 months?

I'm going to submit a warranty claim and see how GD responds.
Our door shattered after 3 trips. The panel with the latch. Probably too much stress on the latch makes the tempered glass shatter. $800+ General RV. We know it was latched as my wife both go through the securing process. 2023 Solitude

only 3 trips - can I assume you are still under the general 1 year warranty? If so, you should get it covered - it may take you calling GD is the dealer will not fight for you though. I was able to get mine covered (parts and labor).

When I told the dealer what happened they immediately stated it wasn't covered. One year anniversary just a few days ago but glass is explicitly not covered. I'll give GD a call but I'm not optimistic. May not replace and use a shower curtain because I feel it is a flawed design and will happen again. Fine for residential use but not RV's.

Check into the type they used a few years back. It's like a sideways roller shade that squeegees itself when opened up...

My dealer and myself both had to call GD but were able to get it covered (I was within my first year when it happened).

the shower door were hard to clean (3-sliding )and we removed them for shower curtains..best thing we ever did no looking back
