I have been seriously considering silversmithing as a hobby once we go full time. I love working with metal. I've tried a little bit with cutting stones but figure it would be too messy.

For years I polished cabochons... I have even taught kids how to do that, It is fun showing others how to doing them. I used to help my dad at Gem & Mineral shows. In my early 20's I dabbled in silver smithing & that was pretty fun. Then life gets in the way. I did get to keep some of Dad's polishing equipment & hope to get back to some of it in a couple of years.
