We are going to be in AZ and SoCal for the winter. We anticipate considerable rain this fall/winter/spring with temperatures comfortable. Since the awning size for the 379FL leaves something to be desired, are there some suggestions for being able to sit outside and yet stay dry. The spots tend to be tight and we like to watch our TV outside and entertain neighbors. I thought about a 10X10 pop up under the curbside living room slide or the same at the curbside bedroom. Opinions. We don't have slide toppers yet.

Our awning is on the curbside. It goes out over the dining room slide but only extends about 5 feet beyond it. The widths from just forward of the front door to just to the rear of the back door. Not much area for 4 or more people to sit under the cover of the awning.

I have seen extensions that attach to the groove in the awning tube, thought about getting one for our 305RE. Check out the Camping World web site or get one of those very thick catalogs from a RV parts dealer.
