We have been having problems with our slide on our 2021 Reflection 260RD. We understand that the trailer has to be level for the slides to operate. Lately, we have noticed that the slide is opening and closing crooked, but always manages to close when it aligns itself upon closing. This issue came to a head the other day when it took me 20 minutes to close the slide because it was coming in so crooked that it stopped closing and i had to open/close it and work it in. While doing so, I did not notice that as it was coming in crooked, the trim on the inside of the slide caught a handle on the bottom cabinet on the bottom of the table seat. I didnt notice it until I heard a crunching/snapping sound and saw that the entire edge of the slide had snapped off and splintered. I was so mad! How is this problem generally fixed? Is it expensive? On this model, is it possible to manually push the slide in or out? The worst part is that we are no longer within our warranty period. Wondering if this is a common problem with this system or just my awesome luck?

So, if there are no error codes on the controller then most likely it is a bad controller. I have a '21 22MLE and am on my 3rd controller. The first replacement was warranty. The second was recently with the same issues you describe. Lippert controllers are over $300. I rolled the dice and got a generic controller off of amazon.

So far so good. If it lasts a year I figure I am still ahead of the game. looks identical to Lippert minus the logo in the corner.
Hope this helps,
Brian

Thank you for the heads up! I really appreciate the link to the controller. I will call my local tech to see if this is the problem and let him know which part to get. Thank you very much and hoping that it is a simple fix and not something expensive and time consuming fix

Take a look at the Lippert Technical Institute (https://lippertrvowner.learnupon.com/users/sign_in). They have a free course explaining everything you might want about the Schwinteck slides. It may help you track down why your slide is "crooked".

*** May not help your immediate dilemma, a repair tech offered this general advice; these slides have sensors at each corner. When moving slide in / out hold that button about 3 seconds after reaching furthest end point so that the sensors "reconcile and synchronize". ***
