Slide out support jacks

RetArmyMSG

I was considering getting a pair of support jacks for the dinette side slide just to help relieve some of the weight strain since that is the slide where we usually sit. Does anyone use them and if so are they worth the price?

This has been discussed at length on other forums. Here is the general opinion of the majority. Not worth it, and can possible cause damage if trailer settles on that side. The slide would be supported by the jacks, pushing up on the slide itself. Not a good idea. Everyone has to make their own decisions, I personally would not. The slide is engineered to support the weight of the occupants.
