I purchased a small $25 Lasco tabletop ceramic heater https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TKDQ5C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and used it on our maiden camping trip.

This may not work for our northern friends but for Floridians it seems to do the job.

First, we camped at a State Park in South Florida. Outside temps dropped only to 50 degrees at night and this little heater had no problem keeping our 2800BH at a warm 74 degrees all night, even on the low setting. I had it plugged into the outlet by the sink and the living area and bedroom were nice and toasty.

We travel with our Parrot and unit needs to be at least 72 degrees for him.

It's a lot nicer than running the propane heater.

Yep we've been doing that in our popup and then in our hybrid. Usually run 2 of them. Not only nicer but cheaper since electricity usually comes with the campsite. On the hybrid I also ran a pass through Marinco outlet since all of the outlets went to 1 breaker. Couldn't run the heaters on high without tripping it. If my 2800BH has the same problem I may have to figure out how to add a pass though outlet on it but maybe 1 heater will be enough since it doesn't have the tent ends. When it's real cold I will also set the thermostat at a lower setting so the propane heater can come on if needed.

We needed to replace one of our heaters and I think this is the model we got from Costco. Lasko Heater I like that this one oscillates.

50 at night... I'd prefer the windows open!

But I know how the warm weather folks feel about Temps below 60 as well.

Stay warm down there. Highs in the teens last week make me appreciate the warm summer months

Yea we love using a little space heater. I travel with the wife it needs to be 72 for her... LOL :)

I got this one from amazon >>>> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BEUZS2/

The only thing I did not like it the fact that in heat mode either 1 or 2 it cuts the fan off and on per the thermostat setting. I would rather it just have the fan going all the time and apply heat as needed.

So I took that sucker apart and re-wired it so it does just that. Yea I am one of them people tat likes to sleep with fan noise.

Enjoy that camper!!!!
