We have a solitude 310gk 2024. When driving the back cabinets open and items fall out, then when we open the back slides these items get caught and can damage the slide. Can we add a lock to the cabinets so they can't open when driving? Anyone have this problem and how did you solve it?

Thanks for your help : )

Same problem on the opposite side. What I found was that the spring latch was a little bit shy on the spring part to keep it closed. Luckily, I only had extra toilet paper and an electronic bug whacker but both wound up getting crushed when I opened the slide. I now only partially open the slides then walk back to see if anything fell out. I stopped at maybe 4 or 5 GD dealers between NH and MT and nobody had a replacement in stock. Unfortunately, there are 100s of choices for those spring latches. I bought one set - didn't fit. I now load that side very light. I have Monkey magnets that I plan on installing there and on our garbage drawer that also opens up.

Certainly you can add locks. It's your rig. Tip on overhead cabinets - don't put heavy items up there. We use ours for jackets & bedding mostly.

We have kid locks on a couple of drawers that used to open before we did suspension (shock absorber) upgrades. We still have them since it's easy enough to open and just in case. Just those cheap plastic ones...

Definitely check the aft end of both slides before you extend them completely. And before you extend the bedroom slide check the sides of the bed and the floor area between the bed and the wall; shoes that like to hide there become very thin.

True tip. I asked GD what the weight capacity was for the cabinets - they didn't have any limit but given how they are mounted, only light weight items go in ours.

We only store light items in those cabinets. Sheets, blanket, pillow, some empty backpacks and some hats. Never had an issue with them opening.

First, make sure the latches are working. Then you might consider some of those child-proof latches that let the door/drawer open part way before having to reach inside to un latch them.
