Ok I can’t get answers from Grand Design, Lippert, Dealer or anyone even emerg services I have a ( picture attached) a OBD 2 test module installed in my 2024 Grand design solitude. It’s wired in but no-one know why or what’s it’s for other than I already know it’s a diagnostic tool for newer automotive computers. It has a blue light on all the time plugged into a harness! By the way, Grand Design Tech support is been terrible, what happen to them ? Picture attached it’s a Veepeak OBD2 the QR just goes to there website, they were no help they said they dont support RV’s

You already answered your own question...it is for the ABS brake system. It is part of the Dexter Tow Assist. It is actually the Bluetooth adapter.

You should have a small LED light on the driver's side of the coach also. There is an app associated with that system.

Here's an informative link on the system. https://www.dexteraxle.com/Dexter-Tow-Assist

Thanks Steve, just got off the phone with Dexter, I told them the issue's with Grand Design tech support ( NON - existent) Lazy day's Rv had no idea what how to work on it, they told me the solar has to be shutdown to pull unit. Tech @ Dexter say NO, if thats the only way then there is issues sent me the link to down load & read the codes off the OBD2 .

The solar only has to be disconnected if there are issues with certain trucks. (This is a known issue, but very spotty, most are fine).
