Sound bar for TCL in 2024 22MLE

Has anyone added a sound bar to TCL TV? We purchased our 2024 XLS 22MLE in May 2024. We haven’t been camping yet, will in Oct. We’re adding touches before we go. ( added backsplashes, added a little shelf in corner of dinette for a small light/lamp. Replaced door lock with a keyless one, etc.) I don’t know if a sound bar can be used, if so, can someone recommend one ? Thank you in advance for you’re help.

TCL makes some. My recommendation would be to get one that uses HDMI ARC, that way your existing remote for your TV will work to for the volume.

If you have a TCL Roku TV go to settings and sound and look for a setting for HDMI ARC to make sure a sound bar with using HDMI ARC is supported.

With our TCL TV in the Solitude, we at first had a Polk Audio MagniFi sound bar with subwoofer interfaced via optical digital. We then switched to a Sonos Beam Gen 2 (with sub) which, as [MENTION=31814]TXkmpr[/MENTION] suggested, interfaced with HDMI ARC so the sound bar came on with the TV and the TV remote controlled the sound bar volume.

Here are a few forum posting tips:

1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Note: you'll need to have a paid subscription to add an image to your signature.

We have the "Bose TV speaker" (which is a soundbar) and chose it because of size which fits below the tv and is about the same width as the TV. Plugs into the HDMI ARC input on the tv. Works great!
