SpaceX entering the cellphone business with T-Mobile

Kind of interesting - SpaceX just launched their first rocket to deploy cell satellites in a joint venture with T-Mobile. Ultimately, could provide cell service in more remote areas where no service currently exists.

For all we know, that's where spam is already coming from now Maybe we are going back to bag phones? Takes a bit of power to get to a satellite and then boosted in return.

Well, for what they'd likely charge for their service, I think I'll stick with Tracfone and POTS.

Not nearly as much power as you'd think. Maybe more antenna than you'd want. You can communicate to and through the ISS with a 5 watt radio.
