Spearfish SD campground suggestions?

Considering the Spearfish KOA or Spearfish City Campground. Suggestions? Also a good breakfast cafe and good pubs for a brew and burger in area. Will hike and ride the bike trails in mid May if the weather is good.

Look into Spearfish Campground (city park with or without hookups) or Chris's Campground. We've stayed at both. City park is nice and quiet.

If you don't have to be right in Spearfish there is Wyatt's hideaway in Belle Fourche. Nice little place on the Belle Fourche river within a short drive to many places.

We stay at Chris's Campground all the time.
Nice, clean, and very friendly.

We will be staying at Elkhorn Ridge in June. We have never been there, but it looks nice.

It is a very nice campground. Not much for tree shade. But most of the spots are nice concrete pull thru.
