Starlink dish angle and snow?

Hi all. We are in MN and frequently camp from early spring to late fall. Nearly every year we experience snow. I just purchased some land and expect to leave my camper there most of the time. We are pretty excited about the new place and likely will push the calendar limits of our camping season. I just received Starlink equipment and hope to get it installed this weekend. My question for those with experience is about the angle of the dish. I do have a fairly open area where we put our camper and I have a shed with a roof peak that is about 18' high where I intend to put a mount. My question is on the angle of the dish. I assume I need unobstructed line of sight, but I'm not clear on towards where? Can I just face it low on the horizon or do I have to face it straight up? I would like to face it to the south and have it at a pretty steep angle so snow will want to fall off. How steep of an angle can I have?

Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

The app will tell you where to aim it and if there’s obstructions. Typically at about a 30 degree angle. In Texas it’s always northish for example. In MN maybe a little different. And it’s heated to melt snow. Though I’ve never tried it.

Thank you for the information!
