Since I started using Starlink in my trailer on the last trip I had constant power issues. The Starlink is plugged into a GFI outlet that is connected to a single 15amp GFI breaker. This breaker is for the wetbay, outside outlets, bath, kitchen plus the TV area. The TV area has the Roku TV, soundbar, Dish Wally and an external hard drive plugged into the duplex outlet with an electrical adapter. The breaker tripped once and the Dish Wally lost connection to the Winegard Pathway x2 a lot of times.

Everything is pointing to the GFI breaker. I am thinking of running a a separate power cord for just Starlink to the electrical box. Being the trailer has surge protection how do I protect Starlink? I am also thinking of running a surge strip from the microwave to the TV area for everything related to the TV. The microwave is on a single 15amp breaker by itself.

According to technical specs the Starlink is up to 48 watts when booting and 20 watts when idle. That is pretty low. Maybe it is just the straw that broke the camel's back or the issue is with another device and the timing is just coincidental? I like your idea of moving things to another circuit. You can use a power strip with surge protection if you feel you need protection.

This may be my best option being my dealer has not found anything wrong with the GFI breaker. I did have the Wally, an EHD, TV and soundbar all plugged into the duplex with an outlet extender. I will be changing out the powered EHD to an USB powered EHD instead of it's own outlet. This would reduce the number of outlets to three. I will plug the Wally into the microwave outlet. Being the microwave outlet only has one outlet I will have to use an outlet extender for it.

I am also looking at running a separate power cord to Starlink to get it off of the GFI breaker. I would run this cord to the campground power center. I will need to look into some type of surge protection though. I have a lot of surge strips in my garage I could use.
