Starlink Unlimited Roaming

We are over 2 months and two locations into our summer travel. We were in Coatesville PA for two months and we are in Topeka KS for two weeks.

So far, Unlimited Roaming plan has been flawless. I just did a speed test and I am getting 200 down and 20 up. Similar test over the period produced similar results. So, I don't miss my residential with portability.

And, once we get back to FL, I'll be able to suspend the service, something I could not do with residential with portability. That will save me $660+ a year.

This is brilliant! I'm paying the $165/month and ouch on that. What address do you use when you're camping in each new location though? Don't you have to provide a valid residential address? Thanks!

Saw this today in an antique shop. Funny that even back in the 90’s we were trying to figure internet into RVing.

We started full timing 9 year ago. My job requires that I do online meetings, so reliable and fast internet is important. Back in the day, I would look for parks that allowed me to get service from the local provider (comcast, etc.) I gave up my unlimited hot spot plan many many years ago and with the data caps, today's hot spots did not work for us. Starlink has opened up a whole new world for us. Now, we can go anywhere and get service.

I was liking my Starlink RV / Roam plan until I tried playing Warzone / MW3 on it. There was running along and then getting warnings for latency, ping and packet loss. Then in the middle of a Zombies match--server disconnected. To be fair it occasionally happened with cell based carriers but it happens a lot more with Starlink...

Oh and yes, it's gotten poor connectivity on Teams calls as well more often that I would like.
