Stereo Remote Fix

So it has always bugged me how the stereo on my 28BH has a remote, but you don’t have line of sight between the living area and the stereo. To achieve line of sight you get up and might as well adjust the stereo manually.

IR repeaters would work, but they require power where there is no outlet, and you have to deal with all of the wiring.

I came up with a simple fix by attaching a right angle prism to the stereo.

Use clear two sided tape to attach this to the IR receiver on the stereo. This allows you to use the remote from a portion of the living area at least.

The prism does have some sharp corners that protrude from the stereo. I lightly sanded the corners to minimize injuries. Sanding did not adversely affect the prism.
