I love my Grand design and I think customer service is outstanding. I have had my dining slide, curb side worked on twice now by Grand design techs in Indiana, and when I leave it appears to be fine and when I get home something changes either from adjustments or ride settling. Can others see daylight when slide is closed at bottom corner, Is this something I should just consider normal or what else can I do to correct it. I am really concerned that moisture and or critters will get in.

I would try tightening the ram screw just a bit more... the ram might be bottoming out a little too soon.

Sorry to here that they didn't get it fixed when you took it back to factory after fixing at rally, hope you can get it fixed quickly

They have sure tried to make it perfect, I have no complaints with the superb customer service. I am sure its just a matter of fine tuning this slide. Grand Design has gone above and beyond to try to get this right and I am sure it will get done.

Hi Steve & Bunny (@smkunder),

Our Customer Support will contact you to discuss your concern.

Best regards,

I have the same problem. My dealer said that it was fixed and I didn't check before I left. Still can see daylight when the slide is closed and will work on getting it fixed.

I did call the customer support number and talked to David. He recommended calling the dealer for an appointment and to keep him in the loop if I ran into any problems. The only issue now is that we are heading for our Winter home shortly and have to get an appointment down there (Florida). Should not be difficult. Thanks for your message, Janice!
