Greetings,
Just kicked off our 2025-2026 camping season with a nice stay at Lake Corpus Christi State Park in Texas. We still had highs in the 90s, but mornings were a little cooler and drier. We were there from Friday-Monday afternoon. While we were there, I saw two other Transcends and one Imagine.
Trip notes:
- The upgraded powered version of Thomas Payne recliners worked well - younger grandsons really enjoyed them and actually slept in them the first night! These were the replacements that I purchased from Lippert under the resolution program to address the hydrolysis\delamination issue a few years ago.
- I had also replaced the dinette cushions with new ones from RecPro. Be sure to confirm not only the length, but other dimensions before ordering.
- Always remember to clean main AC air filter! I forgot and noticed diminished air flow during the night with the coil fins iced over! Corrected that by cleaning filter and raising setpoint to melt ice sheet, all is well.
- The kitchen faucet quick disconnect popped off on the last morning! Besides the QD connection, this also screws together, so I suspect it wasn't tightened upon delivery.
If I ever buy another new trailer of any brand, I will pay for a third party to inspect before purchasing.
