Storage during winter on bed of 315RLTS possible??

I just purchased a Reflection 315RLTS this summer so this is first time storing for the winter. We are seasonal campers so we store a lot of items inside of camper during winter because it will not be traveling on road. My question is, will it be safe to place items on top of the bed while the slide is closed? I've seen that sitting or sleeping on bed, sofa, seating, in a slide while closed can cause damage that will not be covered under warranty. Just curious because we used to store items on bed of old camper that was not on a slide and don't want to damage new one. Thanks in advance for advice.

Being a slide bed I would not store anything heavy but a few bulky light weight items might be ok.
I don't know if there is anything either in the trailer manual or the Lippert paperwork that would give an answer. You could call Lippert customer service and try to get a definitive answer.
If you do let us know what they say.

Besides the weight on the slide mechanism, I wouldn't want anything heavy compressing the mattress for that long without moving, either.

We store bedding on the bed for the winter in a heavy duty plastic bag. I wouldn't do anything too heavy though.

We have a 2019 315 RLTS and on several occasions have slept on the bed without extending the bedroom slideout. We replaced the bed mattress with a much heavier Beautyrest and keep the storage area underneath the bed completely filled with a variety of items. The outside storage area in the bedroom slide is filled as well. All of that storage and extra weight is on the slideout mechanism. Our bedroom slideout has never failed to open or close (hope I did not just jinx myself ). I do remember reading somewhere to limit the weight on the slideout and not to sleep or lay on the bed without first extending the slideout as it can cause issues. But with this said I understand it is a hard choice for you and I cannot say which way you should go.
