Yeah, why not? I keep all sorts of stuff in my 349M garage - especially over the winter.
Chemicals, fuel cans, motorcycles, bicycles, tools.

We weren't sure if keeping approx 2000 lbs in the 349 garage over the winter while the camper was stored would be hard on suspension/tires/etc.

My 349M weighs 14,200 empty, so 2000 lbs would be a 14% increase. I'm sure that doesn't have zero impact, but IMHO, I wouldn't worry about it.
There are much worse things you can do to the suspension/tires - like tow it somewhere.
