Never liked the fact that we couldn't look out our kitchen door in our 23LDE and see who's there or in the campsite. It had the privacy glass but the bedroom is on the other end of the trailer and we are not really worried about privacy in the kitchen. Thought about the thin shades but you have to open the screen door and regular door to lower or raise the shade. Just wanted the privacy glass. Got it straight from Lippert. Used the U-tube hack and used two butter knives instead of buying the "tools" to remove the window frame.
Was able to pull the inner frame and leave the outer frame in the door so hopefully the sealant is intact. We will find out.
Cleaned the old sealant off the frame and put a thin bead of silicone down. Installed new glass, had my wife help me install the inner frame and bada-boom, were done.
I think were really going to like being able to look out the door window.
