Hey there,

I recently bought a 367bhs with furrion ac units. The front ac unit in the bedroom is a furrion unit and is 11in tall. My Rv does not clear my garage by about an inch so I want to go with the Coleman Mach 8 that is 8” tall.

The only info I can find online is going from a Coleman to a furrion unit, nothing about going the other way around. Has anybody gone from a furrion to a Coleman? I would like to still use a thermostat on the wall and understand I will have to change the furrion thermostat to a Coleman thermostat but I believe the wiring will be different. Any insight?

First off, welcome to the forum. Other than the thermostat, the other issue could be connecting to the vents. Are the measurements similar? @huntr70 might have some insights on this.

It really shouldn't be an issue to change out. It will need a new thermostat, but that is about it.

The OP may want to consider the Furrion low profile unit with heat pump. GD is using it now as the optional 2nd air unit on factory builds, and is several inches shorter than the original.

The furrion low pro is what is currently on there and it’s a inc to high, so that is why I want to go to the Coleman.

Any ideas what the wiring to go to the Coleman would involve?
