We hauled a motorcycle and a super scooter on a dual-wheel swivelwheel-type trailer for a few years. It works so much better than a standard trailer, because you can back up with it attached with no issues. The main thing to watch is the increased tail swing, we never had a problem, but went to a toyhauler after a while, just less hassle. We never were stopped when we traveled, and we traveled through, and stayed in several states that don't allow double towing. But YMMV. Be sure the installation of the hitch to the frame is done properly, no halfway measures.
