The televator on our 2024 Solitude 310 is starting to struggle when going up or down. Once the operation gets moving the televator seems to function fine. It is just at the start when the motor hesitates and sounds like it is going to fail. The hesitation and groaning is gradually getting worst. Any ideas or suggestions?

Spray some silicone on the threaded rod where the drive nut is.

I relubed the worm gear several times (I prefer white lithium grease - lasts longer) before finally replacing the motor and worm gear. Replacement also fixed a lot of chattering and groaning going up and down.

I’ve had the same groaning/laboring sounds. Some silicone spray did help us too. I also make sure not to hold the button from fully extended/rectracted to the stop and that has seemed to help. When lowering for travel I bring it almost to the stop and then bump it down with the switch till it hits the base. I don’t usually raise it to the stop. Get it high enough to expose the remote sensor yet low enough the speakers are exposed a little.

Thank you for the responses. A little shot of lubricate solved the problem. Added lubricating the televator to my list of regular maintenance items.

That mechanism, at least in my Imagine 2670MK is a screw drive. Those should always get lubricated with something that dust won't stick to like silicone spray. This is the same way you should lube your manual stabilizer jacks so the road grime doesn't stick to them.
