Have any of you owners installed a television set in the bedroom of a Reflection model 100 22 RK? If so what size did you install? Did you use a mount that will pull out and pivot toward the bed? We are about to pick up a new unit and will have lots to do to get it equipped the way we wish.

My Reflection travel trailer has a side location for the TV similar to yours. I use this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DAMSTNO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 along with a Vizio 32" TV. I remove the TV while traveling and install it in it's box under the bed. I don't know if you have the storage space at the foot of the bed like I do. The mount folds up against the wall. During the day I push the TV against the side wall and swing it out at night when we watch it.

Thanks! Exactly the info that I needed. Looks like a great mount.

Thread moved to Electronics.

More important than the TV or the mount is making sure you screw the mount into either the aluminum framing in the wall or a pre-existing backing plate. Models that come with bedroom TVs have a backing plate built into the wall... others may not.

Thanks for the move to electronics. I looked for a Reflection sub-forum to post it but I suppose we don't have those.

This unit does have a designated backing plate in an exterior wall. I'm assuming one inch screws should be a safe length.

There is a Reflection subforum - but Electronics is a good fit for this question (although it could have gone it Reflection -> Interior, too).

The mount we have when you push the tv in it locks in place. Solid. we never take it down and have never had a problem in 10 years. When you want to move it there is a chain you pull that releases it.

We went with a 32" Sony Smart TV and a Vesa 100 x 100 mount. Great TV for our bedroom and fit between window and ceiling just fine. Had it now installed for 4 years without issue.

Note: Would recommend a Smart TV for the ability to cast from your phone any images you wish to view in your bedroom without having to hookup to a CG cable or dish. We have Dishnetwork Hopper3 at stickbuilt and can cast (using phone) our subscription to our Sony TV while doing CG overnights with shorepower and not extending the slides or full hookup.

We used 1" screws pn our VESA mount. As Second Chance said, just be sure to use the reinforced marked wall mounting area.

Great idea! I might be able to do the same with my home cable. Portable satellite TV has gotten expensive.

i'm using this one in the living room. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CPCMY1W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Of course it's no longer available, but the newer version uses the same latch type and it holds our 42" TV fine. And it's $40.

I'm on the fence with a bedroom tv. The mount location is on the door side wall on the bosses side of the bed. Not sure the risk is worth the reward if it turns into a head banger on a bathroom run.

Ours is also on the door side (my side of the bed) believe me once you hit it in the dark it won't happen again.
..it hurts! IF I get up in the middle of the night it's become natural to reach out and push the TV to the wall. We have the tension on the mount set so it's fairly easy to move

LOL..... been there, done that! Last one still awake, turns the boob-tube off, and pushes it back against the wall in our RV bedroom. Just like moving lawn chairs (or any other potential traffic obstacles) back under the 5er overhang each night. Found them the hard way too getting back/forth to the TV with stuff in hand.
