Temporarily discontinued models

I have seen that some Grand Design models will be temporarily discontinued in order to catch up on more popular models. I know a letter went out to dealers.

Can anyone verify what models will temporarily not be made?

I believe that the 2250RK has been discontinued after the 2021 models are finished. Seems it’s permanent not temporary but I’m not positive, prudent research recommended.

I understand the 344GK was discontinued. We really like it but I've heard a lot of people who don't due to the big windows being on the drive side versus the curb.

I heard my 5th Wheel, the 311BHS was also discontinued but it still shows up on the GD website. For those looking to buy or order a new RV, it would be nice if GD removed the models they aren't continuing or put a notice on those pages advising that production will end on X-date. That way prospective buyers won't fall in love with a model only to be disappointed that it's not available.

That's been changed with the 345GK which replaces it. Same floor plan but slide outs switched sides. A tad longer and heavier. We've looked at one - nice but not getting to the refrig with slides in was something we didn't like. Less windows then the 310GK but personally I don't mind.

In Reflection, I have only heard that the 310RL and 240RL were dropped.

The 344 Solitude morphed into the 345GK.

Imagine has dropped the 3110, 2610, and 2250 at this point.

I hope the information I received was wrong. To me, "Discontinued" means before too long, parts aren't available either if needed. Our 311BHS is a 2021 model (built in March 2020) so I'd like to see it stick around a while.

The only way it would be discontinued would be if they are thinking of an updated version (they won't get rid of a bunk model without another one in progress).

Just like the 311 replaced the 323bh.

Ours has been “temporarily” discontinued. We were the last one to get this in our area. 2250RK. We bought it while still in assembly. We love it !!! Other models with higher demands took priority. I was told the ones with bunkhouses...

it's to bad about the 2250, that's the only Imagine where you get 100% use with the slide closed.

GD uses many of the same component for quite a few years over different models. It would take a long time to not have parts available in normal productio. With parts shortages just about every place these days , availability can be an issue today on any current production model.
