Greetings again, I'm getting a 22mle out of Nevada and having it delivered to Oregon.

My Google is weak and I can't find info on Nevada temporary tags. Not a huge deal as I've asked the dealership for one that is good for at least 7 days from the pick up date. I'm not sure what is standard to give in Nevada.

The dealership is sending off my Oregon registration with proper proof of ownership etc. But has 20 days to complete that. I thought to buy an Oregon temporary tag, but Oregon only allows for a 10 day travel trailer temporary tag for unregistered vehicles. Which is a bit confusing because it's in the process of being registered.

Does everyone just have their travel trailers sit for up to 17 weeks while they wait for their plates to arrive?

Tad confused.

I found this.

Can I drive a car with temporary plates? It is never legal to drive with no tags/registration at all. ... If it is legally registered (even with dealer-issued temporary tags) in the state where you bought it, then you can drive the vehicle anywhere including out of state.

I bought our Solitude from CA and the dealer delivered it to the local dealer. No mention of plates whatsoever when I did the purchase except for our Orregon plates.

Who are you working with and where in Oregon is it going? KEN

Blue Dog in Nevada. It's being delivered to my house in Oregon.

I'll likely call my local DMV also, but it makes sense the 10 day permit when not registered.

I’m not sure about plates and tabs, but I have to tell you that MN taxed us several hundred million to upgrade their drivers and vehicle services software. We bought a new 303RLS and are selling out old Jayco. I can’t find the title. I applied for a new one. It’s only $18, but they said it could take over 6 months to receive it. Gotta love the efficiency of the system.
