The fun of owning forums...!

Today, both of my websites were redirected to a Russian pharmacy. The joys of owning a forum! What had happened was that each of the program files were overwritten with a redirect to the page that was coming up. I am in process of figuring out how it happened. The data was all in tact, but the code that brings up each page was left named the same, but had the redirect to the page. Very interesting. Not the first time I've been hit, and certainly not the last. There was no personal info stolen. It didn't affect the database. No payment info either. That's all stowed with Paypal, not on the forums.

I take this all very seriously. I do what I can to protect everyone. Every password for every system is different, they're all complex, and I have daily backups in place in case anything goes wrong. Anyway, I just wanted to let you have a brief glimpse into what happens sometimes.
