The Heartbreak of Delamination

Chief
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in your time of need.
I know we are on different sides of the country, but aside from donating blood , if there is anything we can do please let us know.
Good luck and will be watching for you.

Brian

Same here Kim,
My thoughts and prayers will be with you as well.

A serious health issue has taken me out of the game for awhile.

Shocked and saddened to read this, Kim. I agree that though we've never met face-to-face, it's people like you on this forum that make hanging out here so enjoyable.

While I don't expect you to post personal stuff here, I'd certainly like to stay informed so you, Sharon, and your family are kept in my thoughts and prayers.

The Bad News. I probably won't be able to receive the trailer to check it out and give a report, at least not for a while. A serious health issue has taken me out of the game for awhile.

Kim - hope nothing you can't address and recover from and be back in the saddle full time again.

Dan

Kim - I'm so sorry to hear that you have a serious health issue. I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you my friend. BTW - I've donated nearly three gallons over the last 35 years.

We have lots of members in Washington State. If you need help receiving, inspecting and parking your RV, we might be able to solicit a volunteer to help you out.

Thanks so much, Brian! Every bit helps. I'll be checking in from time to time to see what shenanigans may be brewing.

Thanks folks! I can use all the positive energy I can get!

Tucson Jim, thanks and congrats for your blood donations. I guess I never knew just how important this is until I started needing it. I have the RV covered by my buddy but if he wasn't available I was headed for the forum.

Sure are a lot of good folks here!

Kim

Hi Kim,

Per our PM discussions, you have "another family" here.
Anything you need between Indiana and Washington . . . just ask.
We can likely make that happen.

Rob

Hey Chief, keep your head up and eyes on the goal. Get well and back out on the road.

Rob, my goal is to get through this and hand you something cold you like to drink then crawl under your trailer to marvel at the plumbing!

That goes for all of you. This is a great forum filled with good people. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers or positive energy. I accept it all!

Aridon, I was a wrestler for a number of years and a very good one. I learned to meet my opponent head on and take him down and to never, ever get pinned.

Thanks, man.

Trailer on its way!

My newly "rebuilt" 315RLTS is on its way home. It is scheduled to arrive Mon. March 18. Happens to be my birthday. I will be otherwise occupied but luckily my best bud Mikey postponed a camping trip so he could receive and inspect the trailer for damages. It's great to have friends like that!

Valerie sent me a copy of the work order with all parts w/ part numbers listed. It's 3 pages of small print, a lot of parts.

That sounds great Kim. I’m sure your chomping at the bit. Great birthday present!

Happy Birthday Kim, and congrats. Report how it looks.

Hey, thanks Jim! Trailer arrived on schedule. Was getting out of hospital so didn't get to see it. My buddy said it was undamaged but dirty! Hauled over the Rockies to get home. Will probably have to take it to an independent repair for a good cleaning of undercarriage, service suspension and an overall inspection of the work. Hope to be able to use it fairly soon but I'm going to be out of the heavy work mode for quite a while.

Kim,
Hope you get back in the saddle very soon and the repairs make it better than new! The weather is finally turning decent for camping (it was a long winter).

Cheers,
Kevin

Hey Kevin, the weather here has been spectacular. I was supposed to be on a trip with friends this week on the WA/OR coast. Just talked to them on the phone. Just gorgeous weather for them the whole trip!
I've still got more trips in the hopper, hope I can make the next one!
