Theater Seats, again

I am a little disappointed. We have the 2014 369RL. We have the same tearing issues on the theater seats that so many others have. Unike others, Grand Design and the chair manufacturers are NOT taking care of the problem. Its the issue where there's no padding between the frame and the material causing the material to tear. I don't want it to get worse, so its costing us $350 to have repaired. Did other folks who had this problem get it taken care of within the first year? Ours has been at Tampa Lazydays since Jan. 7. We've had the unit since Jan 3, 2014.
 
My wife and I have both been to upholstery school. $350 seems a little expensive for such a little repair.

The manufacturer needs to make some quick changes in their frame design to avoid such problems. No excuses accepted.
 
We just got a 350 and I see these posts and flashbacks of the last trailer come to my mind. YIKE We have the 4 recliners together- is that what you are calling theater seating ? I am not sure to the extent of the problem, but if I see it occurring on ours, is it something that I can repair using a large upholstery needle and heavy thread with some added padding underneath? We have chosen to do whatever we can do to not have our trailer back at the dealers ( 2 hours away) if we can do the repairs ourselves. Do you think this repair is "doable" ?

Thank you Janice. I have updated our info for the future. I have received a call from customer service yesterday and thank you to your department for getting things on track. I have learned a lesson this winter. Call GDCS first! In no way shape or form did the difficulties this winter detract from the enjoyment of our coach. We are very happy with our Solitude.Thanks again.
