Confused

Upgrading my setup, I have a 23' Ram 3500 mega cab w/Ram boxes going to a Reflection 337. What fifth wheel hitch system is out there? i Think I need the sidewinder from Reese ? also will the Goosebox work with this ? I haven't purchased the camper yet . Just needing some input thanks

You don't say what length your bed is. We pulled a Reflection 337 with a 6'6" bed GMC and used an Andersen Ultimate with the hitch and adapter turned for maximum clearance to the cab. It did OK and the trailer and truck never kissed. Do the Ram Boxes narrow the bed laterally? If so, you might have an issue with the pin box hitting them no matter which hitch you use unless you go with something like the Goose Box. BTW - the SideWinder is a pin box, not a hitch.

Thank you Rob the bed is 6'4 and I am still learning the terminology lol , I was reaching out on here hoping someone who had the same truck setup, also yes the Ram boxes narrow the bed I will have a clearance issue with a normal setup when I do a sharp turn.

If you go over and search on the RAM forums, there are several people pulling a 5th with the RAM boxes.

I would think the Sidewinder would work. I have one on my trailer, and recently had a RAM 3500 (no RAM boxes), and used it for cab clearance due to the short bed. I still use it with my current truck due to having to back up my driveway, which is a pretty good up hill and initially places the non-scalloped portion of the trailer closer to the cab.

Yes sir, this is the feedback I am looking for. Thank you Wileykid I will explore these options.
