We got home yesterday and today we emptied, scrubbed inside and outside and tucked our 337 away until we go away for New Years Eve.
11,800 miles, 33 states plus Ontario in 3 months and 6 days. Man am I tired and thrilled to be home. Other than my boo boo with the truck, everything went great. No tire issues and as a matter of fact, I never had to add any air. I left with 80 psi and returned with 80 psi! The new self-adjusting bakes worked great and I'm glad I did them before we left as well.
This trip was the motivation for buying our new trailer last January. We knew we wouldn't be happy that long in our 2011 Cougar. Man are we glad we made the switch. The trailer performed even better than we had hoped. We were NEVER cold and NEVER hot. We only had one malfunction and that was with only a couple nights to go so did not become problematic. Oh, it was the damn cheap Extend/Retract toggle switch for our rear stabilizers that broke. What made me angry was that I needed to stand in 3 inches of water, soaking my shoes, to take it apart and then short it to get the stabilizers to retract so we could leave our campsite I need to do a search to find previous discussions on a replacement. I stopped at 2 RV supply stores on the road and they didn't have any.
