In February I purchased a new 2024 295RL which came with TireLinc preinstalled, including a separate display monitor and internal sensors. I've been searching the forum for help on understanding how to adjust the settings, but haven't found anything that explains what I'm seeing. I have my max temp set to 150 (which is the highest I'm able to set), and the relative temp change is set to +/- 60 degrees (again the highest I'm able to set it at). My alarms always go off when my tires reach around 110-115 degrees, usually within the first 20-30 mins of towing. I assume this is because the relative temp change exceeded 60 degrees. As I start towing in warmer weather I'll have to see how that changes.
My question - is there a way to configure this system so it is not always alarming when there isn't really a problem. I understand the concept of the relative temperature change, but it seems like it mostly generates false positives (at least from my perspective). I've already maxed out the temp change setting value. Like many of the other posts I've read about TPMS systems on the forum, I'm reaching a point where the value and benefit of the tool is starting to get outweighed by the annoyance of these unnecessary alarms. Hopefully someone can point me to something I missed or has a workaround that helps like the ability to disable the alarms and just display to pressure and temp numbers.
